goals and methods of VLEFACTORY
The goal of VLEFACTORY is to create a virtual learning environment about smart factories. The aim is to create online and flexibly designed learning units that enable individual and quickly adaptable training. The aim is to provide learners with easier and improved access to the real technology of smart factories. At the same time, new digital learning methods such as VR or AR are to be used to develop technical skills.
In an Industry 4.0 basic module and 5 in-depth modules, the real and virtual worlds of different smart factories are mixed in a wide variety of micro units that can be carried out independently of one another.
The 5 modules are:
digital twin for cyber physical systems
human and cobots co-working
virtual and augmented reality
sensors and its data analysis
network and data driven manufacturing
The positive aspects of a virtual learning environment for learners should have an equal impact on teachers, companies and organizations. Teachers increasingly become learning organizers and facilitators. This new teaching model combining virtual learning in real world environment in one college. Also VLEFACTORY support teachers to become Industry 4.0 leaders and knowledge creators.
Companies can integrate forward-looking content customized for workers directly in the factory.
