micro unit 3.1:
turning applicaion

In the production process of the CP Factory are many applications involved. One of these applications is the turning station which is responsible for bringing the finished products in the customer delivery state.

The application is grabbing every produced piece and rotates the product 180 degrees. After this step has been performed the pallet with the finished product will be stored in the high rack for final the customer delivery.

In this learning sequence the focus is placed on the application of the turning process. The circuit diagram, the sensors and actors, the process chain and the way of programming an application like this will be discussed in this session.

3. After we analysed the pneumatic circuit diagram we will have a look at the connection diagram of the PLC.
